Make sausage sauce

Nakkikastike (sausage sauce) is a children's favourite that's ready in 20 minutes. It's a cheap everyday meal for a busy evening.

You will need

• 400 g frankfurters or ring sausage
• 1 onion
• 1 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp tomato purée
• 2 dl cooking cream
• 2 dl water
• Salt, pepper, paprika

Steps

1. Slice the sausages

   Slice the frankfurters or sausage.

2. Sauté the onion

3. Brown the sausages

4. Add the tomato purée

5. Add the liquids

6. Simmer

7. Season and serve
