- Paste roller and tray
- Wallpaper brush or smoothing tool
- Sharp utility knife and spare blades
- Spirit level or plumb line
- Tape measure and scissors
Steps
Work out how much wallpaper you need
Measure the width and height of the walls. Allow for the pattern repeat, which adds to the waste. Buy all the rolls from the same batch, as the shade can vary between batches.
Prepare the wall
Mark a plumb line
Cut the strips
Apply the paste
Hang the strip
Trim the top and bottom
Butt the seams together
