Building a raised bed

A raised bed warms up quickly in spring, is easy to look after and saves your back. You can build one from wood in a single day.

You will need

• Boards (untreated wood)
• Screws and a cordless drill
• Saw
• Tape measure
• Soil and compost
• Mulch fabric or cardboard for the base
