In felting, wool is turned into solid felt with soap, water and friction. Wet felting makes slippers and trivets, while needle felting makes small figures.

- Felting wool (carded)
- Wet felting: soap, warm water, bubble wrap, netting
- Needle felting: felting needle and foam pad
